We travelled to Wales/Ireland for 10 days this summer (with Grandma & Grandpa Dobberfuhl). We drove, taking the ferry from Pembroke (southern Wales) to Rosslare, Ireland en route to Waterford, our first destination. We all managed to enjoy the 4-hour ferry ride to Ireland. The children expended lots of energy playing in the onboard playground while the adults visited with some Irish natives, getting the 4-1-1 on everything from culture to politics.
The trip back was neat too. We took the 'speed ferry' from Dublin to Holyhead in only 2 hours and got to enjoy a showing of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' in their cinema-style seating.
How fun to look at all your pics from Ireland. It was like a trip down memory lane!! You guys did pretty much the same trip, stops, etc. that we did--only for us it was two years ago. Thanks for sharing!
