As we are about to sit down for our annual viewing of "Mr. Krueger's Christmas," we thought we would post a couple of our home-made Christmas videos from this year...
Amy was assigned to give a talk in Primary this past week at church and she insisted on doing it her "own way" - meaning parents were not permitted to help. We were nervous at first, but thought in the end that it would be more meaningful for Amy (and perhaps the Primary audience) to let her express her own version of the Christmas story instead of having her regurgitate something we had written for her.
Not to be outdone, Emily had to contribute something Christmasy that she has learned this holiday season: "Away in a Manger" (with a few text differences not uncommon to an almost-3-year-old).
We hope you enjoy these sweet presentations as much as we have and that the true Christmas spirit is present in your home this Holiday Season.
Gwen loves to watch these videos. She dances while Emily sings too.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Dobberfuhls! We miss you and love you!
Wow... Amy's little British accent mixed with a little mid-west is so cute! And little Emily was adorable with her singing! I am super impressed with you family!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Christmas card... it made us feel special to get something all the way from England! :-) Merry Christmas
Oh Lana she is so precious! And Randi is right, that british lilt with some good ole american "r"'s is just to die for!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely little "performances" - made us homesick for you. Amy's accent is really coming along! :)
