Stratford-upon-Avon

It was a solid 2-hour drive to Shakespeare's birthplace - Stratford-upon-Avon - but with a couple of DVDs and a few books, the traveling time went rather quickly...
Below: the house that William Shakespeare was born in.

Right: we had to stop and let Grandma experience some treats from the local patisserie.

This bloke was sporting traditional Elizabethan clothing... trendy!



We enjoyed a boat ride on the Avon River.













The houses and scenery in Stratford are so beautiful, especially this time of year.
