From Rome, we took the train along a 3.5 hr. coastal route (very pretty) up to Pisa for the afternoon. There really isn't a whole lot to see/do in Pisa but, of course, it's got a famous tower...
and some shops,
and elegant food,
and other interesting buildings. Like this baptistry
that sits next door to the cathedral
with big fancy copper doors
...and a crooked bell tower.
But you already knew about that part.
