On our way home from the beach, we stopped by Castle Rising, an 1100s-era castle built for Queen Isabella, wife of Edward II. It is located near King's Lynn, a city in Norfolk near the North Sea coast.
Even the little girls enjoyed listening to the stories and history of the castle!
