Day at the Beach

Saturday, Sept. 20: We spent the morning at Old Hunstanton Beach in Norfolk (about an hour's drive from our home in Glinton). The sun was shining and the water was a balmy 40 degrees... ahhh! We had a lovely time collecting sea shells and building sand castles. Matt and the girls were even brave enough to dip their feet into the North Sea. We dined on fish 'n' chips at a cute little cafe up on the cliffs above the beach.

  1. Hey, I missed you at the Vandermydes on Saturday, but looks like you had a full and fun day with your family!! We braved a visit to the North Sea back in March. It was at least as cold. But I'll admit that I did NOT put my feet in the water! :-)
