Pictured below: my first attempt at making spring rolls from scratch (using the new wok that Matt gave me for Christmas and recipe book that Min gave me for my birthday).
In addition to the behind-the-scenes knowledge, Min also hosted myself and a group of Americans for a Chinese New Year feast last week. I can't even begin to describe how fabulous the food was, although my favourites were the roast pork (which she steamed for 3 hours) and the Chinese New Year salad - made with various cabbages and dumplings.

I am sooooo jealous! That is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn authentic ethnic food from someone who really knows! You should email me one of your favorite recipes she teaches you!
