Weekend Visitor

Amy's class at school has a teddy bear named Theo who takes turns having weekend trips home with the various class members. The children are then supposed to write in Theo's journal about their activities. This past weekend, it was Theo's turn to come to our house. After glancing through Theo's journal and realizing he's spent the last several months in a variety of homes with a variety of hairy pets, Mum decreed that Theo's first activity would include a good washing!

Amy & Theo at bedtime.

Amy brought Theo to church. She said he was very reverent during Primary.

Theo was involved in many other activities as well including the trampoline and evening-time board games.

A snowstorm hit on Monday (England's first real snowfall in a good many years) so Amy and her friend, Emily Sheldon, decided to build snowballs with Theo.

  1. You washed the bear! That's awesome! Atta girl, Lana! Somebody had to disinfect that thing!

  2. It's better to have non-living class pets. I was scarred for life when it was my turn to bring home the class hamster and my brothers killed it by playing catch with it in the exercise ball. A teddy bear would have been much better :)
