Sweet Things

Per Family tradition, the soon-to-be-wedded child gets to dictate the day's activities on the eve of his/her marriage. Dale's formal request was that we do "sweet things" all day beginning with breakfast at Denny's.
Next stop was the "world famous" Santa Monica Pier and the beach.

The large pile of seaweed became a creative source of entertainment for the afternoon:

From the beach, we headed back to the hotel (via Dairy Queen) and enjoyed Twizzlers and Cheetos at the pool which tided us over until dinner at Fuddruckers.
