Chateau de Versailles, the estate of French Kings Louis XIV, XV, and XVI as well as the infamous Marie Antoinette.
The famous Hall of Mirrors where the Treaty of Versailles was signed on 28 June, 1919 ending World War I.
It's interesting to note that during King Louis XV's reign, the gardens were entirely replanted in English style. The only thing authentically French about them is the fleur-de-lis patterns in the hedges.
