Oh Give Me a Home...

Big Sky country... and big animal country too.

Fishing on Flathead Lake: Lindy (Lana's sister), baby Gwen (8 months old), Amy, Grandma Brooks, and Emily. Also present, but not pictured here, my brother Dale and my parents.

There's Dale taking us for an off-roading adventure amongst the buffalo.

Feeding the geese at Woodland Park with Grandma Tolley and Grandma Brooks.

A brief overview: Whilst Matt was away at tax training in Atlanta, GA, I took the girls out to my parents' home in Kalispell, Montana for 10 days. We enjoyed our visit to the land where buffalo roam, and where the deer and the antelope play... actually, I don't remember seeing any antelope. But we enjoyed Grandpa's boat, catching fish, being in the Kalispell parade (on the float for Grandpa's work), visiting with Auntie Lindy, Uncle Dale, and cousin Gwen, and camping at Glacier Park. Not to mention the "hospitality fridge" that my parents have in their basement: a refrigerator full of beverages and an entire freezer full of ice cream treats. The only problem was that we felt a bit guilty stuffing down Haagen-Dazs ice cream bars while watching the Olympics... but not bad enough to quit eating.
